Founded in the summer of 2018 The Space Age Travellers perform all original material written by songwriter/guitarist BJ Baartmans inspired by the sounds of guitar heroes who originated in the Space Age (Bill Frisell, Richard Thompson, Ry Cooder, Marc Ribot, Brian Setzer or Jeff Beck) and their heroes and teachers like Duane Eddy, Wes Montgomery, Charlie Christian, Django Rheinhardt, Dick Dale, The Shadows, James Burton and Jimmy Bryant.
Catchy grooves, romantic tunes, intruiging soundscapes and flashy picking at breakdown speed. Music for lovers and freaks. A perfect soundtrack for adventurous time travelling.
