Canadian singer-songwriter Bocephus King releases his new album “The Infinite & The Autogrill Vol. 1” as the first chapter of a trilogy to come. The Infinite refers to the poem by Italian 19th century writer and philosopher Giacomo Leopardi, while the Autogrill is the one sung by Italian cantautore Francesco Guccini. About the album Bocephus King said: “This title contains all the poetry of Italy – the immensity, the Beauty, the details. I’m in love with the Italian Culture. Whatever people do in that country, they do it better than anyone else, whether it’s cooking, fashion, or movies. It’s a great honor to be able to work on these wonderful songs and take them around the world.” The album was recorded at Italy’s The Shelter Studio with a great band that includes Raffaele Kohler (trumpet), Mario Arcari (wind-instrument player for Ivano Fossati and Fabrizio De Andrè), and Alex Kid Gariazzo (guitarist of Treves Blues Band). This soul and rock’n’roll CD will remind you of Van Morrison, Bob Dylan, and The Rolling Stones, and 70s vibes will be heard throughout the 7 originals and the 2 cover songs specially translated into English – “Lugano Addio” by Ivan Graziani and “Creuza de Ma” by Fabrizio De Andrè.
