And for the third time, Meschiya Lake picked up the best traditional jazz singer award at the 2013 Big Easy Music Awards.
In New Orleans, she's hotter than a Mink in Malta and, alongside the kingpins of the New Orleans jazz revival – The Little Big Horns – they kick up such a stompin' storm that everyone joins in to shake and shimmy.
And now, at Little Big Horn Industries Meschiya and her crew have been working on our new album, Foolers' Gold, for over a year. It's a slicker, more modern sounding kind of traditional, with more original tunes. Much more representational of our current sound. We think the fans will be pleased!!

I love this ENTIRE album!!! How to chose a favourite (Well Read Baby?!) Keenan's album is a tour de force of songs that were written now, but he's so totally internalized the style that they sound like they are from another century! The musicianship, arrangements, and the voice of Laura Windley are great. This is my fave vocal showing from Laura, too! (and she has lots of great records) Can't recommend this highly enough

I happened upon Tuba Skinny and Erika L buskin’ in New Orleans on YouTube! I have Loved them ever since and play their albums daily! As a musician and band member in Canada, I can say that Tuba Skinny and their soulful renditions touched my soul in ways that have uplifted my life. We in the “great White North” can only dream of making New Orleans jazz like T S. Long Live Tuba Skinny and may their music become world wide for the enjoyment of all!!
