With its 2016 debut album “VEG OUT!”, Any Vegetable delivers a record rooted in American music. The 6-piece band lead by renowned bass player and songwriter Pieter Douma (BGUTI Orchestra, Blowbeat) is a powerful rock group with hints of jazz, country, blues and funk. With René Creemers (Drumbassadors, Blowbeat) on drums andJohan Jansen (Ilse deLange, Waylon, COD) on pedal steel guitar he sought out three young musicians in order to fuse experience and fresh talent into
a group that can (AND WILL!) blow your mind. They found that talent in Lizzy Ossevoort (vocals), Baer Traa(vocals/ac. guitar) and Aldo Spadaro (electr. guitar). For their debut album “VEG OUT” the band collaborated with producer Sebastiaan van Bijlevelt to provide ten eclectic songs with a big sound and a clear sonic statement.
